ERASMUS DAY
As part of their project "On the wings of legends" started in September 2019, the pupils of the La Chapelle-Janson school participated in an "Erasmus Day".
They participated in different workshops related to storytelling: visual art, games, theater ...
It was an opportunity to share a friendly moment while respecting health rules.

HUNGARY - First Theme Day
Our chosen hero in this term is King Matthias, the famous Hungarian renessaince king. In our folklor there are a lot of legends about him and his activities. One of them is Fair Ilonka was adapted by Mihály Vörösmarty in the 19th centuries. After reading the story students in Class 6. talked about it and made lovely paintings to illustrate it.
UK - Virtual meeting with Hungary
Our chosen hero for this chapter is Robin Hood. When we had our virtual meeting with the children in Hungary we told the story of Robin Hood by singing a song. I have attached the lyrics to the song we sang below.

Virtual Meeting with UK
Finally in May we managed to organize our virtual partner meeting with the students of the school from UK. It was a great fun. British partners sang a nice song about Robin Hood, and Hungarians performed a puppet show about King Matthias and the Good Shepherd.
LET'S PAINT!
Because our schools are full of artists, we decided to design some paintings and send them to the schools.
Each O.W.L school will receive 5 drawings, one from each country! And to make it even more special, we will use ordinary and traditional mail!

All of them are about our "love hero": Saint George, from "Sant George and the dragon" legend.

The children worked hard to create beautiful pictures based on our love story, 'Robin Hood and Maid Marian'.
